Last night the Vitamin OC crew headed to Chapman Univ. to listen to Chris Brogan speak about social media! Singer/Songwriter AJ Rafael has 18,942 followers on Twitter, 97,921 subscribers on YouTube, and 16,872 fans on Facebook. Needless to say, AJ Rafael is a big deal. Last night, he used the power of his fan community to raise money and more importantly, raise awareness about the tragic Typhoon Ondoy that struck the Metro Manila area of the Philippines this weekend.

Last night the Angels clinched their 3rd consecutive American League West Championship in an 11-0 win over the Texas Rangers!! This is the Angels’ 5th division title win in 6 years!
The 2009 regular season of Angels baseball was far from easy. The Angels were struck with injuries, an inconsistent pitching line up, frustrating hitting slumps and the death of a teammate. Cars are such a big part of our lives, especially here in Orange County, that I’m really happy that we are a center for anything regarding the automobile – from being HQ to some car companies like Kia and Mazda, and to holding some great weekly events like Cars and Coffee.

One of Orange County’s landmarks is undergoing a much needed renovation! Originally built as a scoreboard for the Angel’s stadium in 1964 the “Big A” that now stands in the parking lot of the stadium is being renovated!
